TULT 64

TULT 64 is a free puzzle game for the Commodore 64 that involves sliding blocks together so that all their colored sides match and their movement tallies are set to zero.

A Bit of History

The original TULT was created by Walter Siracusa in 1990 for the Atari ST. Decades later, it reached a larger audience when streamer Macaw45 played it on Twitch. A PC remake by MP83 made the game more widely available.

The C64 Remake

TULT 64 is a remake for the Commodore 64. The idea for it started five years ago, when I played MP83's remake and was inspired to draw a mockup screen of a possible C64 version. Then I forgot about it until recently, when I decided to make the game a reality.

The new C64 stages are woven in among the originals for a gentler difficulty curve. A stage's YEAR in the HUD tells you whether it's an Atari ST original (1990) or new to TULT 64 (2026).

Controls

Use a joystick in port 2. Some features, like code entry, require a keyboard.
